Hmm, sounds fun!
This is my list Al-Arabiyah: superb language for writing literature, melodic, I want to be able to study religious materials Basa Jawa: aka Javanese, while I am native Javanese, I feel my speech somewhat eroded, also I want to master Javanese literature and poems Deutsche Sprache: Mercedes-Benz, Deutsche Nationalmannschaft, Science Engineering Tech. Nihongo: ANIME, RIKEN, MANGA, Technology, volcanoes Zhong Wen: a very important language, Sun Tzu, business purposes Islenska: I like volcanoes, and Icelandic sounds great in my ears, esp. the names, for me it is just Modern Vikingish :-p Samskrta vak: Javanese has some roots in it, also it sounds unique to my ears Donsk tunga: VIKINGAR!!!! Norroent mal Russkiy yazyk: to see the world from the other side, Tolstoy, Farsi: I do not know why, but it has a peculiar sounds for me. 2 persons have voted this message useful | |||

Can't choose just 10. In no particular order:
1. Mandarin 2. Cantonese 3. Vietnamese 4. Malay/Indonesian 5. Korean 6. Japanese 7. Swedish 8. Lithuanian 9. Turkish 10. Greek 11. Russian 12. Arabic 13. Hebrew 14. Dutch 15. Tibetan sounds cool :P And many more... I'd really like to learn Ladino. I wish it wasn't just spoken by the elderly and was still being passed on to the younger generation :\
Lojban because it is like the only non-Spanish-clone constructed language out there. All words are a blend of words in 5 different natural languages. The latter is one I would probably never learn because it itself isn't a natural language, but Ladino I do hope to one day seriously study when I have more time. There's actually dozens. :-) Klingon is relatively easy to find resources for, and if you poke around you can find other stuff, including Tolkien's languages and Volapük which was a pre-Esperanto attempt at universal language, which borrows most from German (although in my opinion it doesn't look much like it). 1 person has voted this message useful | |||

In Denmark I could probably survive with just Danish and English - but it would certainly not be fun. So the rest of my languages must logically represent the fun. You could of course say that it is practical to know some Italian in Italy, Romanian in Romania and German in Germany and Austria, but I also travel for fun so this doesn't change the basic claim, namely that I study almost all my languages for fun.
