The Japanese National Geographic is such a great find! I've been desperate for some nice Japanese documentaries for quite some time.
I would recommend the NHK Kokokoza. It is basically a distance learning programme which covers the Japanese high school curriculum, with a combination of TV shows and radio broadcasts. The video/sound quality is not great, but it is good enough. I did quite enjoy some of the earth sciences and history programmes. The really nice thing is that there is a webpage which accompanies each TV show (but not the radio ones sadly) and the text is close to the script for substantial sections of the TV programmes. In terms of Skype, if anybody wants to add me then please go ahead :) If we can coordinate a weekly time across diaries and timezones I'd be happy to play host. 1 person has voted this message useful | ||||||

I thought maybe we should do a head count to see who's still here. I know I'm here :) and g-bod and kraemder are both very active, but what about everyone else? We seem to have lost a number of people over the summer.

Woodsei, I think you are in the enviable position of spending so much time actually working on your Japanese, you don't have enough time to write lots of log entries!
