Same for me. However - I can't remember if I talked about it with you or someone else - have you tried 魔幻手机. I've watched 4 episodes, which is a lot for me, and it's actually quite fun.

No, i don't think we talked about this, but i have actually seen the first episode. That was some time last year i think and i stopped watching it, because i thought it was too hard. I probably should get to it again, it was a pretty entertaining show. Thanks for the reminder!
And guys! I found this: it seems to be something like an audioplay for 第十二夜XZY谋杀案. I have not completely listened to it yet, but anyway, it seems well produced. In my case "watching" really meant "hitting the pause button" so I could have some time to read the hanzi subtitles... In case you didn't know it already, it seems there's an online version of 第十二夜XZY谋杀案 here 1 person has voted this message useful | ||||||

I'm lazy, so I'm just copying my post from the Chinese team. It's a really messy translation that shows, that it was done in ten minutes after realizing that February is almost over. Sorry. I'll post another song translation later to make up for it.
------ So, here's my song for the february challenge. I'm sorry to say, that me translating from a foreign language into a foreign language makes for really bad English.. It just sounds like engrish. Corrections are very welcome, i'm kinda shakey on the meaning of one sentence. Here is another song translation. I still have one to go, but i'm not sure if i want to translate it into English or German, because translating into English always makes it sound really, really weird. Maybe i'll do both.

I finished 第十二夜XZY谋杀案 by 璇儿 yesterday evening. I really liked it, and even though i found out it is actually the fourth book in a series i didn't have any trouble following. I found the rest as eBooks here and will be reading those on my kindle. It's an old kindle, so there's no easy dictionary function. The first book in the series is called 第十二夜死亡之兰.
The book was really easy and fast to read (and it was only about 170 pages), i slacked of the past few days and read 80 pages in one sitting yesterday. That tells you how easy/ engrossing it can be. If you are interested in crime fiction and are looking for a book to begin try this series. They are interesting, pretty easy to follow and clearly YA fiction, so they are not too hard to read. You might have to learn some flower names for this one, though. I am now at 1180 pages read. Yay! I think i'm slightly behind schedule, but i should get another 第十二夜 volume in before March. I posted this before, but 第十二夜XZY谋杀案 has an audioplay in two parts in tudou here and here, so you even get listening practice! (And i love audioplays.) As for watching TV.. I started watching a few episodes of a Taiwanese show called 今晚哪裡有問題. Basically a talk show about a variety of topics, i just pick a topic that seems interesting and see how much i understand. The Southern Chinese/ Taiwanese accent still throws me off, i have a lot more trouble understanding them compared to Northerners, so it's good practice. 2 persons have voted this message useful |
