Just checking in with the Celts team to see how March went and if anyone has plans for April. My big news is
that I finished Gaeilge gan Stró Beginner level and I just started in on the Lower Intemdiate book. It's a bit of a jump but I'm making progress. I also got a DVD of Dora the Explorer as Gaeilge (among other languages). My listening comprehension is improving a lot these days which is exciting. I found another local study group which I'll be able to get to more often. I went yesterday and I managed to squeeze out a few complete sentences and a few more Tarzan-like sentences. I figure it's really important to start getting active practice at this point to help consolidate my knowledge. I'm also participating in the learning based challenge (anyone else?). Wow, that's great to hear! My immediate goal is to finish my university course (final exam on the 23rd of April) - at which point I'll have solidified my B1 Gaeilge (according to my teacher, and she would know!).

So while the forum was down, some people were using the HTLAL Learning Den a bit more.
Even with the forum back up, it's great to use as a place to share links, videos, etc, and arrange video hangouts. There's a section for Welsh and they just added a section for Gaeilge.
