Thanks Gemuse. Habit RPG really helps when doing language learning is also helping to

How are you finding Cafe in Berlin as a story? Have you tried to read any other readers yet?

It isn't the most exciting story ever, however the most important thing to me is I can
understand most of the words and the few I don't they have the definition right there. The only other thing I have tried for reading was a children's chapter book, but it was too many words that I didn't know and it got overwhelming(even with a popup dictionary). So I'm also working on the 1000 words of German memrise course and later on going to try and tackle it again. 1 person has voted this message useful | |

Duolingo: Decided to take a break from this since it was getting to more sayings that are
extremely frustrating to learn in Duolingo's method of learning. Going to do more of fluentu & tom deustschsite in the meantime. Assimil: Still going! Passive: 118, Active: 72. 1 person has voted this message useful | |

Assimil: I finished the Passive wave!!!!! Active: 80
Tom Deutschseite: Working through the first group of lessons on the conj of present tense verbs. Going a lot better than the first time I tried this. Fluentu: Using this periodically. I finished up their novice videos. Some of these are really different. Now that I'm done with the passive wave of Assimil, I'm going to use that time to focus on reading in German. 2 persons have voted this message useful |
