Team Sleipnir (Scandinavian)

Hi there fellow Scandilearners!

Welcome to a new journey through the languages of the vikings, the nordic gods and
the nordic mythical creatures!

As you all may know, TAC is all about motivating each other and sharing tips and
resources. It hasn't been different in the past years with Team Viking and Team
Asgard.
We have shared a lot and become friends on the go. I hope the vikings and heros from
the previous TACs will keep following us on the journey, and I also expect that new
brave language learners will join the ship. Make yourselves at home at our new
Scandinavian spot.

Although I have been part of two TACs while following close TAC 2012 as well, this is
my first time as a Team Leader, and the reason I decided to go for it is the
respect and admiration I feel for my fellow members and godparents. All this to say I
am going to need all the help of you guys to keep this thread up-to-date and on
the right track. Feel free to point out any mistakes or supplements to be made to this
list, either by here or through pm. I am going to keep the same list of resources
from the previous year, but I would like to advise to check other members' previous
logs for suggestions on media. I have been learning Norwegian so I can give you tips
on it both for textbooks/learning resources and for native media, but other members
have been learning other languages, like Swedish (Emme and tarvos, for example) and
Danish (daegga, also for Norwegian).

Please post a link to your log so we can add it here.

We have the following members so far (updated May 18th):

AlOlaf (Danish)
daegga (West-Scandinavian, East-Scandinavian)
Emme (Swedish)
Epeli (Swedish)
Expugnator (Norwegian)
Jaynie (Danish)
jeff_lindqvist (Danish, Norwegian)
Mareike (Swedish)
Sarnek (Swedish)
Serpent (Swedish, Danish)
Shemtov (Swedish)
Sooniye (Danish)
suzukaze (Swedish)
tarvos (Swedish, Norwegian)

Now for the challenges and the members that concluded them:

Jaynie, Sarnek, daegga. AlOlaf, agantik, tarvos, Expugnator, suzukaze, Emme, Marieke, Soonyie, jeff_lindqvist

February: Describe a typical day of yours.
AlOlaf, Emme, Sarnek, Expugnator, Soonye

March: Read (and discuss, if you want) a news article at least 350-word long.
AlOlaf, daegga, Expugnator, Emme

May: Pick one language-learning activity of your choice and perform it 100 times within the month of May.

AlOlaf, Emme, Expugnator, Sarnek 2, 3, 4

June: Record yourself speaking freely in the target language.

AlOlaf, daegga, Emme, Expugnator, Sarnek

July: Pick a song of your choice in your TL and describe, in your TL too, how you feel or what you think about it.

I can only say: Wow! What a start for a team thread. I'll follow it closely, and if I can contribute with some information about Danish don't hesitate to ask.
