Thanks for the info. That’s great to hear, but as Cavesa says, now the next big thing that we need to find out is how much P&P costs to Europe.

Bokus works fine for me :) I have ordered books from them before, no troubles.

Thank you, tarvos, for your input.
It’s good to see further positive opinions about Bokus.
Judging by your experiences, do you think their shipping costs are in line with other international online booksellers (I’m sure you know which ones I’m referring to)?

Poor girl!
Is she the one who spent (is spending?) some months with a host family in Spain? I suppose that a change of
climate (like moving from Norway to Southern Europe) for at least the worst part of winter would be a great
help to her.
Tell her that I’m sending her my best wishes!

No, she is the one I have sent to Spain 5 years in a row for a few weeks in the summer :-) And yes, the
change of climate does her good. I'll give her your regards!

I actually don't remember, but they didn't stop me from buying the books. I tend to just
buy stuff, I'm terrible with pricing. But I don't think it is exorbitantly expensive as I
remember, better than Amazon I think.

Thank you, tarvos, for your answer.

After more than three years on the forum I’ve decided that an update to my language profile was due: nothing as radical as moving one of my languages from “Studies” to “Speaks”, but simply acknowledging that I’m trying to learn Russian. Even though I began studying it almost on a whim last November (because of the Assimil Challenge), after a year I guess it’s high time I admitted that it wasn’t just a fad and therefore I now also list Russian among my “Studies” languages.

I don’t want to jinx it by writing about it, but so far the 6wc is going great. I’m not logging incredible hours, but I’m managing about an hour or an hour and a half of solid studying (plus a little more fun time) every day, which is really good for me.
My focus is Swedish, of course, and my other languages (Russian first and foremost) must settle for much less time and attention.
