Wow. I knew I hadn't done much language work this week, but I hadn't realized just how little until I ran the numbers. {sigh}
One thing I meant to do last week but forgot was to give my current card totals. My Hanja deck is now up to 623 total cards. My 한국어 deck is now up to 4233 total cards. (All the cards in both decks are single direction, so the number of facts is the same as the number of cards.) My overall review stats for today (to give an idea of my current Anki workload) are: Studied 168 cards in 22.45 minutes today.

Had I realized I hadn't really done *anything* in the way of active study with Korean this week, I'd have made an effort to do something Friday and/or yesterday. I thought I recalled entering some cards over the last weekend, but those were apparently on Saturday so they counted for last week's totals not this week's. That said, I also had a last minute push to a Wednesday deadline at work, so I worked a ton at the beginning of the week including very late on Wednesday evening, which didn't give me much non-work time this week. Thursday was spent catching up on the work tasks I'd had to put off due to the project deadline. Friday I took off, but still ended up doing several work tasks anyway (one of which followed me home over the weekend). Still I could have found time to do *something* had I realized I was this lacking in stats this week.

My numbers still aren't great this week, but are still far better than last week. This coming week will most definitely be another sparse study week, though, since there is a lot going on at work which will heavily monopolize my time this week.

Comments:
As predicted my numbers are quite low this week, but they aren't quite as bad as I feared since I got some work done last Sunday. The beginning of this week will be very busy again, but should hopefully trail off a bit later in the week.

We went out to dinner with some family last Sunday and I found it interesting that my uncle (which already knows Spanish quite well) started on Cherokee a while back. I'm not particularly interested in learning Cherokee as a language, but may decide to SRS the syllabary (like I did with Russian Cyrillic) at some point.

Still no real progress on this as I haven't added any additional songs to my Lyrics deck yet. I've memorized the choruses to several recent songs, but that kind of thing just sort of happens now without really trying (kind of like it does in English, now that I think about it). Verses, rap sections, and bridges are a different story.
Comments:
The comment I made last week hoping that my work load would "trail off" later in the week turned out to be a pipe dream. {sigh} Work has been absolutely ridiculous lately leading to virtually no active study and far less Korean TV watching than normal.

Is the increased workload just because it's the end of the year or because of a project or something? I've noticed that you'll have a week here and there where you don't get to immerse yourself as much, but not to this extent.
