So no more new languages! The languages I am working on right now I will try to stick
with for the rest of the year at least. I have worked on about 20 different languages this month, trying to figure out which ones I wanted to spend some time working on and my list of active languages right now seems interesting and more importantly doable. 12 languages, 5 different languages families. Yes it is! One of the reasons I am interested learning Norwegian is that one of my
favorite play write wrote in Norwegian, Henrik Ibsen and I also am also a fan of Knut Hamsun, and would like to read his stuff untranslated. Hopefully it won't be too long before I can start getting into stuff like that. 1 person has voted this message useful | |||

Well, see? You're doing great, already, and actually, you're probably better than I am! And you do have access to a native speaker too. So far about 3 hours of studying today. I did an hour of written Arabic, actually going
quite well. Without having to worry about pronunciation, language learning is pretty easy. Irish however was a different story. I spent a lot of time to day going over some pronunciation drills, really try to get those broad and slender consonants right. Hopefully it will pay off soon, as I am getting restless unable to actually say much stuff in Irish. 1 person has voted this message useful | |||

Just did my first extensive period of shadowing. Walked and listened to a German audio
book for 2 hours. My legs feel exhausted but I don't feel particularly good at German... 1 person has voted this message useful |
