I, for one, like that this forum values civility. I find it a refreshing break from people shouting at one another in other forums. Let's keep it that way, please! That's an important part of what makes this forum useful and pleasant. We can disagree without being disagreeable.

I do not object that. we need to make some money, somehow. I do object some other things but like futurianus wrote: "other alleged personal peculiarities are of secondary". now, I've got his guide and it's all about motivation. do I like it? not really. some other people could find it useful? possibly maybe
pretty nice words. do you really believe that?. all I see it's a guy who worked his socks off for 3 months gaining pretty decent results, saying mandarin was/is "as difficult as Spanish" -and even writing a not really convincing post about it, and afair not being as social as he wanted to be due to x and y factors... I can't see that pathway you are talking about, not even that "others could more easily follow" part I'm still thinking about those magic words "efficient immersion" and, btw futurianus, afair leosmith is one of those Benny "haterz" -just saying 3 persons have voted this message useful | ||||||
