Xin chào Lisa,
Đây là một bưu thiếp từ của thành phố của tôi. Nó không rất lớn, nhưng nó là tốt đẹp. Tôi muốn biết nhiều hơn về thành phố của em. Có rất nhiều người trong thành phố của em? Điều gì là tốt đẹp về thành phố của em? ỡ đâu em đi chơi vào buổi tối?

I am so glad I won the prize. I would like to travel to the USA in July because of my job. Will I be able to see my cousin Ann in Dallas? I know the tour only goes through Houston... Also I would really like to go swimming in the ocean. I hope there will be time for that.
Yours sincerely,

Cám ơn rất nhiều.. Tôi thì rất vui mừng tôi chiến thắng giải thưởng. Bởi vì làm việc của tôi, tôi muốn đi đến Mỹ trong tháng bảy. Tôi có thể nhìn thấy em họ của tôi Ann ở Dallas, phải không? Tôi biết các tour du lịch chỉ đi qua Houston. Cũng tôi muốn đi bơi trong biển. Có lẽ tôi sẽ có thời gian cho điều đó.
Trân trọng,

I hardly knew my father. When he died at the age of 75, I wasn't yet 10 years old. I can remember the day very well. It was a sunny day in September and there was an unusual atmosphere in the house. I can see myself sitting all alone on a chair in the big room; a wasp was flying around but other than that the house was completely quiet. One of my older brothers had said: "Father is dying, but you should stay here". Everybody was with him, just I was "too small" again and therefore excluded. I don't know what made me more sad, this condition or my father's death, whose significance I of course didn't understand in the least.
One image of him impressed me the most: looking at his room from the corridor and seeing him sitting at his desk in the shine of a lamp. It was like seeing a light at the end of a tunnel.

Very nice, BiaHuda! Sometimes I'm really surprised by how well some people know Vietnamese.
Below are some suggestions, which are just meant to delve deep into the nuances of phrases:
"Nó không rất lớn, nhưng nó là tốt đẹp".
You have keenly observed that there is no direct equivalent of "nice" in Vietnamese. The phrase "tốt đẹp" is okay but would probably be more suitable here to just say "đẹp", which is the literal translation of beautiful. And the 2nd clause can then be shortened to "Nó không rất lớn, nhưng đẹp".
"ỡ đâu em đi chơi vào buổi tối?" The English literal translation of this is "Where do you go in the evening?" Usually, we'll put the "where" after the verb "go" in Vietnamese: "you go where in the evening?", which maps to "Em đi đâu chơi vào buổi tối?"
Below are some other points:
" Bởi vì làm việc của tôi, tôi muốn..." --> "(Bởi) vì công việc, tôi muốn..."
"Cũng tôi muốn đi bơi trong biển" --> "Tôi cũng muốn...". (Here Vietnamese position of "also" is similar to English: right before the verb)
"Tôi không biết bố tôi cũng". As above for the position of "cũng". Here, the original English word is "hardly", so you may want to use "hầu như không": "Tôi hầu như không biết bố mình (bố tôi is fine but bố mình is the native way, but I won't go into this".
"...nhưng Tôi quá nhỏ lần nữa và bởi vậy loại trừ" --> "nhưng vì quá nhỏ nên một lần nữa tôi bị loại trừ". The literal English equivalent of my suggested translation is "but because of being small so once again I was excluded".
"Một bộ nhớ của cha tôi ấn tượng tôi nhiều nhất". Here is just the vocabulary usage: Image may better be translated as "Một hình ảnh"; "bộ nhớ" is more suitable for "memory".
And btw, it's fortuitous to see your Huda Beer name (my home town has it :) Guess you enjoy the beer.

Γεια σου, Λίσα
Αυτή είναι μια κάρτα από την πόλη μου. Δεν είναι πολύ μεγάλη, αλλά είναι ωραία. Σε παρακαλώ, πες μου περισσότερο για την δική σου πόλη. Πόσοι άνθρωποι ζούνε σ'αυτήν; Τι είναι το ωραιότερο που έχει η πόλη σου; Πού βγαίνεις τα βράδια;

Your translation was quite good, actually.
Just a few comments:
1) "die Stadt" is female.
2) "die Stadt ist nicht zu groß" is possible, but it literally means "the town is not too (meaning "excessively") big.
3) "die Leute" is always plural and needs the verb to be conjugated in 3rd person plural.
4) "where" in the sense of "where to" is "wohin?"
