Not Armenian, but the Caucasian language group which has Georgian as its most prominent member. There are very few people who know both Basque and at least one Caucasian language. These really are the only ones that are entitled to have an opinion, and I'm not among them. However I visited Tbilisi in 1988 with my mother, and our local guide was a young woman who studied some kind of languages at the University. She said that at least one of her teachers had been studying this question and he didn't dismiss the hypothesis - but this still isn't any proof of anything.
Armenian belongs to the Indoeuropean languages, but has its own group within these (like Greek and Albanian).

Tämä ketju menee aina vain hämmentävämmäksi. Tätä on kuitenkin ihan mielettömän kiva seurata. Tuntuu oudolta nähdä niin montaa eri kieltä sekaisin samassa ketjussa!
This thread gets more confusing all the time. It's really fun to follow this, though. It feels weird to see so many different languages together in the same thread!

To naprawdę ciekawe widzieć tyle języków na jednej stronie :)
I'm pretty sure that you will find out quickly what the language is it :P
