Yes, but don't forget that Grief is involved, too!
"Sucky" may be a misspelling of "Sukey" as those records were handwritten generations ago. But why would anyone name their kid "Grief"?
Strange ways to be remembered, anyway!

I didn't forget, I wrote "Good Grief it's Sucky ....
Well, it's like the Spanish name Dolores. I always said thank Lord ;) my parents didn't name me that.
Wasn't a Dutch politician called Minister Kok? In Swedish this is harmless, but in English ooh la la

oops, sorry, I misread your message. That's a clever way to put it all together--never thought of that!
I also used to work in a hospital where we had frequent visits from a family with the unfortunate last name "Crotchfelt" I'm sure you can imagine the hilarity this caused us, and awkward exchanges, i.e., "Dr. Blablabla, do you want Mr. Crotchfelt now?" "Eh, no, not really . . . "
We also had a lady there named Mary Christmas!

Hey no worries
Crotchfelt OMG LMAO that's the best ever (or worst!) Poor guy. If that was my name I'd change it, that's going too far.
Mary Christmas... bet her parents were pissed when they did that. Cool name though.
There's a man I heard of called Mr Panis ;) I don't know his first name, but like Mr Wang, maybe it's Huge LMAO

There's one in the Cayman Islands too. Not only do I literally have the T-shirt but, as there are postal facilities, I sent myself a postcard from Hell. |

Don't forget that the one in Norway has a much better chance of freezing over though ;o).

I once participated in a conference in Sweden where I'm from.
A British woman also participated, and her name tag said "Pippa Best"
When I got chatting to her, she mentioned that a lot of people were staring at her name tag with a strange look.
She could not know, of course that "pippa" is the slang word for " _____" And Best happens to be almost the same thing in Swedish.
When she mentioned that she was flying back shortly, I decided not to enlighten her --- or she'd cringe for the rest of her life, every time she thought of Sweden.
Pippa (nick name for Phillippa) is cute in England, but anybody with that name should remember NOT to use the nickname in Sweden at least.
Not sure if it's used in the same way in Norway and Denmark.

A female colleague from China was called "Wai Ping Li". She married a gentleman by the name of "David Butt". She was "Mrs Wai Ping Butt" for only a few days, when she announced she would like to be known as "Jenny Butt" from now on.
