20 minutes vocab review yesterday, finished Alice in Wonderland, listened to more rap
Chia: I'm using "Mastering Italian Vocabulary". I like it, but I suspect that it's nothing really special. And yes, having a beautiful Italian significant other would be a great way to learn :-)

Ah, thats the one everyone loves that has the words in context! Going to order that
one soon.
I got the small one by Barrons. The size is great but no sentence examples. I think
I'll keep it in my car or someplace handy just in case I find some free time.
Actually, it's perfect for boring meetings as it can easily be hidden under the table,
ha!

Haha, good luck with the board meeting strategy. ;)
Today, for the first time, I listened to podcasts. I got them from http://www.learnitalianpod.com/, and wow! I am very impressed by this! I listened to a beginner and intermediate podcast, and it seems to me that intermediate is the way to go for me. I'm very excited to listen to more of them, although I am aware that my studies have not been logical or regimented at all as of late. I don't think that will change anytime soon, unfortunately. Oh well!

Today I listened to the first two intermediate podcasts from the website I mentioned in the previous post. They were much easier than the one I heard on Friday, but that's okay. I (again) listened to Italian hip-hop as well, going well over my 30 minute minimum goal.
Actually, something just "clicked" today, and I found it much easier to understand the music. Forse è perché faceva bel tempo, dunque ero molto felice e rilassato...

Yesterday I did 3 more podcasts, and today I did another 3. Woohoo. God I'm so exhausted from school.

Rai.tv? What do you watch?
Find anything else?

When I watch TV, I'm almost always watching the live feed of the 24 hour Rai news feed.
But bad news...
As of right now, I'm discontinuing my Italian studies until further notice. This doesn't mean that I won't listen to random things in Italian or reading some newspaper articles, but my life is such that I don't have the time to commit to my studies, nor the inclination to take on an additional stressor in my life.
I just got accepted into a really, really, really good graduate program but have a lot to do re: school before the semester is over. I know my priorities, and Italian is not up there right now.
I won't disappear from the face of the earth, but like I said, for now I'm not actively studying Italian.
