kalenda = 1. of a month in Latin, but here it is illustrating Ancient Occitan, as in the wellknown estampida or saltarello "Kalenda Maia" by Raimbaut de Vaqeiras from around 1200:

Kalenda maia
Ni fueills de faia
Ni chans d'auzell ni flors de glaia
Non es qe.m plaia,
Pros dona gaia,
...
