O.K., Then I already have Fanatic's audio I guess. I assumed he was capturing the audio straight from record to the PC. When I read this on uz-translations, "records transferred to cassettes and now ripped onto computer as mp3.", I thought it was someone else's audio.
All's fine then,
Cheers

Sorry, a littler rectification, just for the record, not that it really matters: half of it is ripped from records to cassettes to PC, the alphabet and the second half straight from records to PC. Fanatic made a good job of it and a lot of work it must have been, too.
Cheers.

Agreed, and very much appreciated on this end.
And thank you to you also for uploading it.

Could anyone try splitting the files into proper tracks/lessons? The problem is that the silence length between the lessons varies which makes automatical splitting with GoldWave or similar programs impossible.

I also got a CD from Fanatic, and have split the audio up into the 100 lessons; it just took a bit of time and patience.
I'm not sure where yet, but I'll upload them in a day or two. Can anyone recommend a place that can host them without bugging people to register?

http://ifile.it/ is fine. No need to register and no download limits like on Rapidshare or similar sites.

The RAR file is 215MB, and Ifile.it only allows 100MB uploads. I'd rather not split it up into 3 separate downloads.

I'd still recommend it. It's not that hard to create 3 rars, is it? :-)
