Is it just me, or are some of the English translations in this course very... peculiar, to say the least? Maybe it's just the old-fashioned language, but I've found several instances where I couldn't make out the meaning of the sentence (in English)... I could see that during the "passive" phase it wouldn't be much of a problem, but I think I'll have some trouble understanding when I go back to do the "active phase" (if I understand the Assimil method). Even some of the directions and side notes seem to be written somehow awkwardly.
Then again, maybe it's my simple, non-language-oriented mind that's causing me so much trouble. =/

It's not just you. Some of the English does indeed seem rather peculiar to me. I'd say it's largely due to the age of the course.

I'd just like to say that the audio on the last couple of sections is remarkably clear considering how it was (probably) digitized. A big thanks to whoever did all of this.

Thanks to all involved!
I successfully downloaded the audio (thanks to crush) but I tried to access the RAR file, installed a winzip RAR file but now to view the pdf, I have to put in a password?
Did anyone else have the same problem?
btw I downloaded a 1971 text which is all in French. I was looking for English.
HELP!
