I most certainly will join your conversation, although I'm afraid my Georgian is still in the beginning stages (I just

I love Thai food so I was very happy. I studied a little Georgian when I was lying on the beach, but only for one or two hours. I understood from your post that you are studying Georgian, but the next sentence was difficult and I couldn't understand it well. Why are you studying Georgian?? "მივიდნენ ინგლისში" - wavidnen inglisSi. The preverb is not right. "wa" is more like "left for" "ეს დრო", you actually mean "amjerad" "როცა ვცვებოდი პლაჟძე" this one's kind of correct but does not sound natural. A Georgian person would say "roca plajze viweqi" Hmmm, that's all... I had one more look but there's nothing else to comment on. Great! როგორა ხარ? დიდი მადლობა შეცდომებისათვის. ძალიან სასარგებლო იყო. შენ ხშირად სხვადასხვა ადგილს დადიხარ ჰოლანდიაში! როცა პირველად მოვედი იაპონში მეც ხშირად სხვადასხვა ადგილს დავდიოდი, მაგრამ ეხლა მირჩევნია ვიყო სახლში ან ვიმგზავრო ზღვის იქით. რასაკვირველია მინდა საქართველოში წავიდე! თბილისის უნივერსიტეტის ზაფხულის კურსზე ინტერნეტში წავიკითხე და ეს მგონი ძალიან საინტერესო იქნებოდა,მაგრამ სამწუხაროდ იქ ალბათ ვერ მივედი. თხუთმეტ წლის წინ ბევრი დრო მქონდა მაგრამ ფული არ მქონდა. ეხლა ფული მაქვს მაგრამ დრო არა მაქვს! They were very useful. You are often going to various places in Holland! When I first came to Japan I also used to go to various places, but now I prefer being at home or traveling overseas. Of course I want to go to Georgia! I read about a Summer Course at Tbilisi University on the Internet and I think it would be very interesting, but unfortunately I probably won't be able to go. მე კარგად ვარ. ამ კვირაში ბევრი სამეცადინო მქონდა, მაგრამ ყველაფერმა უკვე ჩაიარა! შენ როგორ ხარ? შენი პოსტიდან ჩანს რომ დაქავებული ხარ და ბევრი საქმე გაქვს. სიმართლე გითხრა, აქ არც ისე ბევრს ვმოგზხაურობდი აქამდე. უბრალოდ ახლა მეგობრები შევიძინე, 2 ქართველი :) ერთი მათგანი საკმაოდ აქტიურია და ჩვენც აგვიყოლია, რაც ბუნებრივია კარგია. ისე, ფული რომ მქონდეს, გაცილებით მეტს ვიმოგზაურებდი... ჩემი აზრით,შენი ქართულის საქმე ძალიან კარგად მიდის. ამ, ბოლო პოსტში მხოლოდ ერთი შეცდომა დავინახე რომლზეც ქურადგების გამახვილება ღირს: "მაგრამ სამწუხაროდ იქ ალბათ ვერ მივედი" სწორი იქნებოდა გეთქვა "ვერ წავალ". An interesting development last night. When I say "interesting", I mean "interesting
strictly to language nerds only". I went back to UzTranslations to see what was on offer there for download, and found a Georgian newspaper reader with audio. The excerpts are graded for difficulty and include comprehensive vocab lists so I was able to decipher the first few relatively easily. It gave me a great feeling of satisfaction to be able to understand some real-life Georgian. It was also very valuable for giving me an idea about natural Georgian sentence structure, which is something I really haven't been able to fathom up to now. In other news on the Georgian front, I signed up for a few of the language exchange sites I've read about here, but of course there weren't a whole lot of native Georgians queuing up to speak to me, and to be honest I'm not really sure if talking to someone I've never met before in a language I can barely use is for me, so I might leave that area for now. I also took ruskivyetr's advice and ordered a German textbook, Lehrbuch des georgischen Sprache, from Amazon.de. I'm now on the last two chapters of Kiziria so I'd like a textbook that takes me further without wearing me out like Aronson does. I have been using Aronson a little more recently though - again it all seems much clearer after I return to it with a little more knowledge under my belt. Finally, a lengthy Internet surf acquainted me with a textbook called ბილიკი (Biliki) which is published in Georgia. I found a couple of excerpts and it looks really great so I wrote to the publisher (a language institute in Tbilisi) to ask if there was some way I could buy a copy and have it sent to me in Japan.
