Hm... I think Korean is similar to Japanese and Chinese really.
I mean the structure is similar, all you really have to know is the alphabet and characters really.
But I'm learning Japanese and Chinese at the same time and Korean and Japanese have taken some characters from
Chinese, so I think you don't have to worry about the Chinese characters much.
I don't know... I'm in the middle of teaching myself Korean and I think it's pretty simple.
Also when there are 2 meanings for everything in Korean, it's pretty similar to Chinese, as if you get the tone of the
word wrong, then the whole sentence really doesn't make sense..

Wow, exact same reasons why I think korean is really hard. Something like year ago, I made rules about pronunciation. Maybe I should share it here. Not sure if this will be helpful.
Also I'm not sure if there is still some rules that I didin't find(?).
