Well here you can see that it's very dark inside one of these small vehicles. Amazingly enough they can accommodate 5 people at a time. In winter traveling in one of these is extremely unpleasant at –10c. On top of that these vehicles are extremely dangerous. The Chinese weave in and out of the road with little regard for lane discipline. When I think back to the time a taxi driver let me drive myself home (not wearing glasses), it comes as no surprise to me to find out that China has only 2% of the worlds cars but 15% of the worlds accidents.
