"Apart hrvatice which is Croatian, and Beograd = Belgrade, I think it's correct. I did learn some Russian and it helped me a lot to understand when I travelled there this summer (Bulgaria, Croatia, Serbia, (Albania), Montenegro, Slovenia). When we were in Niš, I tried to read some newspaper, and understood a little. But I think learning languages in general helps you to develop such feeling as connection between languages. Along the trip, I understand quite fast words like soba, which means ( I assume) room. Due to my Hungarian, I could pretty easy make it out (szoba in Hungarian). Thanks a lot, I wish I hadn't give up Russian :) (One day, maybe...) Kisfröccs" Well I plan to learn as many Slavic languages as I can, and if you learn Russian then maybe someday we can speak serbo-croatio-russian someday! =D EDIT "You may be able to recognize the similarity between "Zovem se..." and "Меня зовут..." The Serbo-Croatian phrase literally means "I call myself..." whereas the Russian one literally means "me they call...". " Oh ya I see now. Originally I connected Zovem with Живём, but seeing them next to each other, I recognize the big difference. Thanks so much!
