It's really great that you're going to a Hungarian language school, I'm sure it will help you so much. I'm also planning to go to Hungary in July, but only for a few days on holiday.
I think I need to follow your example with the Elle magazine. I love Kossuth radio, they talk so much and I love the little stories they have and interviews. Even the rare music is usually nice, although some English ones make an appearance which I don't like. How much do you understand? I probably understand about 5-10% of the words but about 1% of what they're actually talking about!
So I'm glad that you're maintaining your studies well and doing Team ő proud. Unfortunately our teammates seem to have quit or maybe taken a long holiday, hopefully to Hungary!

I didn't realise that Elle is like that, maybe it wouldn't suit me then! I love Magyar enough to give it a try anyway.
I'm listening to Kossuth right now. I think I understand the sounds a lot better than I did at first, I can hear what they're saying now but I just don't understand it if you know what I mean. I listen about 1 hour a day so hopefully I'll get better quite quickly.
I believe that your Hungarian is more natural than mine and so your speaking and listening (and maybe the rest too) for example are definitely at higher levels than mine.
How do we say 'Magyar rules!'?
I'll try - A magyar nyelv legjobb! That doesn't quite have the same ring to it.

A magyar csúcs! is what I would suggest (Hungarian is top; Ungarisch ist spitze!)
So you can see I am still here, still doing a bit Hungarian everyday - but I never get arround to update my journal ... hm, maybe I'll do that now.

Interesting post about the differences between the German and French method of teaching and studying. I think the French way sounds more efficient. The English way is also more similar to the French way. When I was at school we had to copy out pages and pages from the board which was really boring and terrible in the opposite extreme from the German way.
I like the songs that you post and it's good for me that this one is in Spanish, you're helping me with Spanish now too!
Good luck with your exams. When do they finish?
