Est-ce qu'il n'y a pas un vrai équivalent de "leadership" en français ? (Je sais que le
mot "leadership" a été emprunté mais je n'aime pas les anglicismes :-P).

Très intéressant pour moi que les juifs parlaient "seulement" anglais. On a vu le même
chose quand j'étais en Canada chez les juifs orthodoxe moderne et Massorti, aussi.
Naturellement, dans cette vidéo ils peuvent être hassidiques, et en ce cas ils
parleraient yiddish comme langue maternelle aussi, bien sûr, et anglais (et français)
seulement comme une deuxieme langue. Souvent dans les enclaves hassidiques en les États-
Unis aussi, ils ne connaissent pas anglais trop bien, malgré le fait qu'ils vivent en un
pays ou anglais est presque partout autour d'eux.

^ That's interesting. I guess it makes sense, though, with certain Jewish communities
being quite closed to outsiders.
Lately I'm having trouble motivating myself to speak Spanish. It's not that I don't like
the language, it's just that I'm more connected to French and it comes so much easier to
me.
If English is like riding a bike downhill, then French is riding a bike uphill, and
speaking Spanish is (trying) to ride a child's tricycle uphill. :-P
But I am improving, and I've been doing two sessions per week with a teacher from iTalki,
which I think is providing a decent external push for me.

Avant de regarder cette vidéo, je n'avais jamais réalisé que je déjà comprends un bel
tas de français. Ben, je "parle" français officielement maintenant! =)
La vidéo est tres claire, et tres interessant, aussi!

Pardon my English, I don't feel confident enough in my French to use it here, but I have
to say that I found the video above surprisingly clear and easy to understand. This is
not usually the case for me when dealing with spoken French, especially when trying to
listen to French radio which is what I do most of the time, but I could understand a
great deal here. I wonder if the language on the radio is more rapid-paced, filled with
idioms etc. than speeches like this? That could go a long way in explaining this.
