German Added all of Level 1 of The Physical World to Anki; added Level 1 of The Animal World up to Reptiles and Amphibians to Anki. I'm still recovering from being sick yesterday, so didn't feel like tackling any new material. ~20 minutes. French Assimil French with Ease - Reviewed Active wave for Lesson 50; did Active wave for Lesson 51, 2. ~20 minutes. Not much on these days. I was still recovering from being sick, and was quite tired. After college classes and work, I had little energy to tackle languages. I believe all I did was read a few Deutsche Welle articles. 11/5/08 German Wrote a few messages to my German tutor. ~15 minutes. Listened to an Alltagsdeutsch podcast, Senfmühle. ~15 minutes. French Assimil French with Ease - Active wave for Lessons 52 and 53, 2 and 3. ~20 minutes. I must admit, I'm not sure if I'm going to continue the active wave; I'm unsure as to how much benefit I'm actually gaining from it. I may just focus on the French, and try transcribing some more, among other things. I feel that rather than teaching me to produce French, the active wave is teaching me to take an English selection, and memorize Assimil's French translation of it. :) Assimil French with Ease - Active Wave for Lessons 4, 5, 54. ~20 minutes. German Worked on catching up on my Anki reviews. I had nearly 400, and am now down to 250. ~15 minutes. Chatted with a few German friends for a short while. ~15 minutes. Russian Assimil Russisch ohne Mühe - Reviewed Lesson 18; read Lesson 19. I still need to listen to it. ~30 minutes. German Listened to Studenten im Rollstuhl twice. ~30 minutes. Listened to Unkraut vergeht nicht twice. ~30 minutes. Russian NPRC - Reviewed chapters 4-6. I need to set aside some time to memorize the accusative and prepositional forms of pronouns. Morning German Worked on catching up some more on my Anki reviews; did about 125. ~15 minutes. Russian Assimil Russisch ohne Mühe - Listened to Lesson 19 6 times. ~15 minutes. French Assimil French with Ease - Listened to 54-58 twice. ~15 minutes. Evening Russian Assimil Russisch ohne Mühe - Reviewed Lesson 19 again, going over the text and listening to the lesson twice; did passive wave for Lesson 20. ~40 minutes. French Assimil French with Ease - Active wave 55. ~15 minutes. German Worked some more on Anki reviews. Did about 80; down to 92 remaining reviews (until tomorrow, anyway). ~15 minutes. Morning German / French / Russian Finished catching up on my Anki reviews. ~15 minutes. Evening German Did some grammar study using Hammar's German Grammar and Practicing German Grammar. Morning German Did Anki reviews for the day. ~10 minutes. Afternoon German Reviewed some word lists; did a few blocks of new words. ~20 minutes. Evening Russian Assimil Russisch ohne Mühe - Listened to Lessons 18-20 again, twice each. ~20 minutes. French Assimil French with Ease - Listened to Lessons 55-64. ~17 minutes. Ultimate French Review and Practice - Read a bit of the chapter on present tenses of irregular verbs; went through a couple of exercises in chapter 1, present tense of regular verbs. ~10 minutes.
