To add links easily, by copying and pasting, copy the URL of the link you want to insert, then click on the fourth-from-the-left button below the "post reply" label. (It's the one that looks like a globe with a radio in front of it.) A box will pop up, and you insert the link and click "OK". A second box opens with "http:" in it; delete that "http:" and paste your URL in once again, then click "OK" and your hyperlink should go into your message. (For some reason, at least for me working in Firefox, the links always show up at the very bottom of the message, so if you want to insert a hyperlink in the middle of a piece of text, you have to put it into the bottom of the box and then copy/paste it where you want it.)
It really works pretty well, and you don't get the automatically inserted spaces that seem to appear in URLs that are just copied into the box. In any event, it's actually simpler than it sounds, and once you've done it a time or two, becomes almost automatic. 4 persons have voted this message useful | |
