Hmm, z podręczniku miałam wrażenie, że to było często używany zwrot, ale widocznie byłam w błędzie.
Dziękuję za wyjaśnienie, pesahson! Nie przejmuję się więc tym zwrotem, skoro są Polacy, którzy go nie słyszeli. Wiem, że istnieje wiele takich kolokwialnych sformułowań w języku angielskim i wielkiej części ich nie znam! (Nawiasem mówiąc - zarówno dosłownie jak i przenośnie :) - czy dobrze brzmi moje ostatnie zdanie? Chciałam powiedzieć "a large number of them", ale obawiam się, że nie udało mi się.) 1 person has voted this message useful | |||

The sentence is almost perfect. It should be "Wielkiej części z nich nie pamiętam"

I found a free online Reference Grammar of Polish. Maybe someone will find it useful.

It's been a while, but with my German/Spanish on hold for this year I've been thinking about going back to the Polish which was always the one I liked best anyway. I'm just not sure if it's too late.
