Good points fellas.
I can easily imagine myself upset if in my workplace I started to hear people constantly
saying 'ma chi e' lo stronzo che ha scritto questo codice' 'questo codice e' una merda'
'adesso lo prendo a calci in culo' or 'che cazzo e' sta roba!' :D
Even more surprised if it comes out from the mouth of foreigners.
So in my case I can simply apply the 'I would never say it in Italian, then I don't say
it in English or any other languages too'.
Different is the case where a thing that it is perfectly acceptable in my country it is
not in an another. I would avoid to hit on a girl in Saudi Arabia, for example, while in
The Netherlands it is quite normal.

If you tried to hit on a girl in Saudia Arabia you would most likely find yourself in jail and punished to receive 100 lashes or something.

As for swearing, I think it is very important to learn swear words, but in order to know them, not necessarily use them. A native will normally know when it is appropriate to swear, but coming from a foreigner it can seem misplaced and stupid. I would certainly never swear at the workplace, being in French or English (although I might have muttered a foul Norwegian word to myself on some occasion). That being said, even public figures sometimes use foul language, as when Nicolas Sarkozy uttered his famous Casse-toi, pauv' con".

That is why I would avoid to do it :P
Yes I think it is indeed useful to learn the swearwords in order to understand them.

Spoke in French today at lunch, the first 15 minutes I had more problems than usual after
my 60 minutes of Spanish conversation yesterday evening. My brain is hating me :D

Hey I received the feedback from my teacher of my first Spanish conversation ever :)

teacher wrote:

Muchas gracias Tristano. Realmente fue un placer charlar contigo ya que tu español es
realmente bueno. Estoy seguro que en breve alcanzarás la fluidez de un nativo. Hasta
cuando quieras!

Very great second conversation! My teacher told me that I could be a B1 already. It's incredible, I speak Spanish and I
don't even know how.
