Hello everyone!
I'm Dutch and new to this forum! A few days ago, I've been looking into learning a new
language. My motor license is relatively close to being done and this is the primary
reason for me to learn Russian (beside the fun part ofcourse!). The goal is to master
Russian enough to read Cyrillic
script and to have a basic conversation.
Before finding this forum, I've been doing some research. It felt best to start of
with pronouncing Cyrillic script and starting to follow some basic YouTube classes
focusing words and basic phrases.

Hey!
I've been asking around and a friend of mine still has his Assimil. It looks like a very
good way to train indeed.
cпасибо

The last message is dated Feb. 18th.
Seems like 2016 isn't Russian language's best year in terms of new devotees

Sorry that I can't write in Russian. :-(
My project is now to practise reading and writing of Russian cyrillic printed letters. I
don't want to study the Russian language, because I have so many other languages to keep
alive.
For my reading and writing project of Russian cyrillic I use the following book:
"Russian Script Hacking Guide" by Judith Meyer.
