YouTube and two Polish film studios agreed to let Polish classic movies be put on YT legally. I'm excited about it myself. Here's a link to the article.

With more to come. Unfortunately without subtitles and not each one is worth watching, but there are some gems there (like Kieślowski's films for example). I can recommend the movie Weiser. Films are great but sometimes they are too long for me to concentrate on, or they have intrusive background music and fast dialogue. So when I don't have much time, I like watching interviews. The sound quality is good, there's no action to distract me from listening and they often last for less than 30 minutes.
There's lots of these interviews and various 'lifestyle programmes' on Publicystyka TVP Their You Tube Channel has a lot of interviews with writers, politicians, singers etc. 3 persons have voted this message useful | |

Thanks for the links, Mooby! I agree that movies aren't always the best listening material. Especially if you
don't have much time to spend on studying, since there are very long scenes with barely any dialogue, and so you don't end up getting much out of it. Mam krótkie pytanie i myślałam, że ten thread to najodpowiedniejsze miejsce na nie. Czytając mój nowy podręcznik Czas na czasownik, natknęłam się na ten zwrot: tłuc talerze na szczęście. Co to ma znaczyć? Wątpię, że Polacy naprawdę tłuczą talerze, żeby wszystko szło po ich myśli. Czy to coś w rodzaju trzymania kciuków, ale bardziej przenośnego? Może jest jakiś związek, gdyż było coś o tej tradycji greckiej napisane na stronie internetowej, którą
znalazłam szukając na Google. Ale czy Grecy naprawdę tłuczą naczynia? Taki zwyczaj wydaje mi się bardzo dziwny. No i czy Polacy tak robią? Jeśli ktoś mógłby dać przykład użycia tego zwrotu, byłoby świetne! 1 person has voted this message useful | |

Powiem szczerze, że nie słyszałam nigdy o niczym takim, ale w googlu znalazłam, że w okolicach Katowic państwo młodzi tłuką porcelanę na szczęście w dniu ślubu. Może to tylko regionalny zwyczaj.
thread = wątek O Greckiej tradycji tłuczenia talerzy też słyszałam. Ludzie usłyszeli o niej chyba po filmie "Grek Zorba", ale jak jest rozpowszechniona to nie wiem. Turyści w Grecji chyba ją lubią, a Grecy pewnie od niej odchodzą. 2 persons have voted this message useful |
