If a verb ends in ся, does that mean it is an imperfective verb? I don't know how to conjugate these yet... |

Not really, it means (usually) that it's a reflexive verb. The conjugation is pretty much the same, the best example to give you is with the verb "to study", that has both non-reflexive and reflexive forms:
Учить (non-reflexive)
я учу
ты учишь
он учит
мы учим
вы учите
они учат
Учиться (reflexive)
я учусь
ты учишься
он учится
мы учимся
вы учитесь
они учатся
Did you get the difference? You just have to put "ся" at the end, or "сь" if the last letter is a vowel. Piece of cake!

what is the difference between еду and иду? |

You'll learn about Russian motion verbs in the future, but for now I can tell you that "иду" (that comes from the verb "идти") is used when you walk or go on foot, and "еду" (that comes from the verb "ехать") is used when you go somewhere using a vehicle, like a bike, a car, a train, a metro, a plane, etc, etc...

Yeah, I referenced it, and found out it was reflexive. I understand now.

Nuclear chemistry concerns chemistry that is based on how molecules react in situations where nuclear reactions also occur.
So, basically, what happens when molecules collide (or particles collide) and then those particles change to become something else (often radioactive).
It's basically nuclear physics, but then based on how those nuclear particles react with matter.
The class I took was quite boring though.

The dialogue I am trying to understand was spoken at warp speed just to piss me off, I think. I was in the middle of it and with the transcript there, I can follow the dialogue, but the assimilation is problematic (I get the gist, but I don't get every word 100% at the mach 3 speed of the dialogue). I like it a bit though that this is maybe the 8th or 9th dialogue in Ruslan 1 and the speed and pace is considerably bigger than for TY, which has enunciation at turtle speed. The latter I can follow, but this is a bit more of a challenge.
I will attempt it again without transcript tonight or tomorrow and see how far I get.
Now it's time to integrate more vocab into the very being of my soul.

So much for integrating vocabulary. I did find an old .pdf of Colloquial Russian floating around the internets for some reason. I've decided (since there is no audio to accompany this little bugger) that I will use it as EXTRA GRAMMAR PRACTICE (TM). No speaking or listening practice, but I have class and my hare vs tortoise paradox dialogues to make up for that, right? I am still deciding on whether or not I should shell out the requisite 80 bucks for Assimil's Dutch-Russian book, but I am glad I am indecisive because my wallet would hate me more than <insert rival football fan club of the team you support here>. Even though I don't do anything close to lacking money at this point in time.
Oh well. Anki, here I come.

Wouldn't the English version help you as well?
And how are you using Anki?
