Monthly Goals for January 2013
Like some other people, I would like to formulate my goals for this month. These will
not be very ambitious given my time schedule, but anyway, here goes:
Brezhoneg: I will continue with my routine of one lesson a day. Since I have
finished lesson 63 of the passive wave yesterday, that means I still have 28 days left
- meaning I want to be at lesson 91 of the passive wave by the end of January (and 42
for the active wave).
Русский язык: I want to finish my Russian science magazine at the end of this
month. Furthermore I hope to watch one movie in Russian using Russian subtitles.
עברית: I want to finish the first unit of "The Routledge Introductory Course to
Modern Hebrew". That's 16 lessons in total I think; I have done two, so I am more or
less on par.
Français: I want to finish this month's edition of Science et Vie, and to enroll
in the next course at the AF.
Svenska: No particular goals concerning Swedish for this month. Most likely I
will just browse wikipedia articles. I will also take one or two private lessons.
That's it.
German and Latin have no goals this month.

It's good to have monthly goals! Which magazine are you reading in Russian?

Наука и Жизнь.

Familiar. Homely. I don't even know what I would say in Dutch as I use English as a base
most of the time to think (except in terms of pronunciation). It feels like I know what
is being said, it feels like home. Hence hemligt.
Och det är ett halvår, tror jag. Om jag inte har fel har jag börjat i juli 2012.

Yes, but let's not overdo it shall we. I still have holes in my Swedish and six months
is more than enough time to get acquainted with a language related to your own.
