Reflections at this juncture

I have rediscovered a strong desire to be able to read and write Esperanto, even if I still can't make myself enjoy speaking it. I also don't really enjoy hearing it, although certain people (especially Italians) pronounce it in a way I really like, and which I will probably imitate if I ever have to speak it. While studying vocab today I learned some cool new words:
- "mojosa" – cool/awesome
- "ŝli" – gender-neutral personal pronoun
- "fek" – all-around swear word
- "volapukaĵo" – gibberish (love the derivation of that one, haha!)
Things like these always make a language more lively and interesting to me. Esperanto, I haven't given up on you yet! Sometimes, though, I must admit I feel like I ought to hold some record for being the slowest learner of this language EVER. :)

Anyway, I added it back into my daily schedule, although I don't have any particular goals to hold myself to with regard to it, at the moment. I'm just going to keep working on it whenever I have the time and the inclination.

P.S. Just have to say that I was ABSURDLY excited when I looked up "The Little Prince" in Mandarin and found that I could already read the title: 小王子 – "small king child"! :D
