Thanks for your reply, Iversen! I didn't even notice the catch in the question you indicate, but now that I'm taking a closer look and thinking about it, I believe you're entirely right. Of course, it wouldn't make sense to repeat the name, but it would make sense to stick in the name if the answer had been "Non." I'm glad you've got sharper eyes than me. :)

The correct answer would be "NON ... Felix y va". You wouldn't repeat the name if "il" referred to the same person.

And this of course is a problem with many multiple choice tests. The result depends not only on your knowledge but also upon you ability to guess what the test constructor was thinking when (s)he formulated the question. But that is of course even more important in a face to face test situation.

FRENCH (passive study)
     10 minutes: listened to a French podcast.
French total: 60 minutes (60 active/0 passive)

GERMAN (active study)
     30 minutes: read a few scenes of a Christian Grabbe play (in Fraktur!).
GERMAN (passive study)
     90 minutes: watched an episode of Tatort.
German total: 120 minutes (30 active/90 passive)

TOTAL STUDY TODAY: 180 minutes (3h00)
