C2 - Korean
C1 - Japanese, Mandarin
B2 - Spanish, German
Yeah, I'm not big on trying to learn 907986707 languages haha. Korean is the main focus in my life, the others aren't as important to me.

I'd like to know 5 languages at C1/C2 level. I don't know which ones yet because it depends where I end up in life. I would certainly want my Dutch to be C2.

I'd like to keep speaking the French and English I speak
I'd like to speak Korean so well no one would doubt that I'd grown up and lived in
Korea for the better part of my life
I'd like to speak Spanish without having to worry about pronunciation
I'd like to speak good enough Italian (like C1)
I'd like to speak Japanese better than I speak Korean now. So well beyond C2
And then I'd like to speak passable Farsi. As in have myself understood on the street,
and be able to give my opinion about current events to people, and engage them in
conversation about... everything muahahah

This is clearly a young person's thread, so I'll sit it out, except to point out that
Paul McCartney, writer of the song in question, is now 69 :-)

Not at all! Please note that I said that at 64 it is time to set new goals - so feel free :-)

I love this topic. 64 is a ways away for me, but I think I'd be content with C2 in
Spanish, German, and Mandarin, and B2 or above in Polish, Turkish, Vietnamese, and
French.
My plans are wont to change, though, so who knows.

No. Actually those of us who are slightly older are nearer to knowing where we will be at 64.

64, hm, that's twice my current age. I'm not so good at planning ahead, but I would love to have a really profound knowledge of the English language (including some basic understanding of Old and Middle English) and - assuming that I'll stay in/near Luxembourg - C2 in Luxembourgish and C1 in French. Else a B2/C1 in Portuguese and Russian and B2 in Kurdish (Kurmanji) and Armenian (East) would be nice.
And - knowing myself - I'm sure I'll be flirting with and/or studying about one to two dozen other languages as well, I'll just see what I can achieve ...
Oh, and within this 32 years I definitely want to restart my Sanskrit studies (that beautiful beautiful language!) and be able to read some of easier texts like the Pañcatantra or the Śukasaptati without having to look up every other word.
Edit: And learning how to type properly would be nice, too.
