Essentially yes, because you may want to be able to speak to Ziad, but there's always the possibility of typing.

My experience too, but I completely understand if he is busy. Hopefully though his website will be up soon. I'm sure he has plenty he can share with those who are interested.

This thread has been most informative and entertaining to read. I feel like Teri Hatcher's character in an episode of Seinfeld. Ziad is real, and he's spectacular.

I just spoke to Ziad on skype. His English is very good, he has an accent, but it is not thick at all. I couldn't really test him in any other languages. But he mentioned his teaching methodology to me and prices and stuff. I will be starting lessons once a week with him a week from Saturday. Initially we have decided upon Mandarin Chinese but im debating perhaps starting with another language.

I just read this thread from top to bottom, and found it very interesting. I had no idea that people doubted Mr. Fazah existed!
However, there were two things I didn't understand:
1. If Mr. Fazah is a computer genius, who is also now a computer-language "poly-coder", why does he need other people to make websites for him?
I'm Nowhere near computer-genius material, and know no computer languages apart from HTML, and could make websites in my sleep, typing with my toes.
2. How could Mr. Fazah mistake DaveM for either a Gaúcho native or a Portuguese native?
That's like telling someone: "let me guess, you're either from Jamaica or from Texas!". Especially if DaveM made mistakes like the one in his post in portuguese.
Is it correct to assume that Mr. Fazah has no ear for accents and does indeed only know languages from a theoretical point of view?
(EDITed for typos)
