Here are the "rules" of TAC for anyone who is curious about them:
Quote:
The only thing you have to do is make a commitment to hold out for a
year, keep a log, and read the logs of your teammates in order to help and encourage
each other. It's lots of fun.

And the links from last year's TAC are found further down this page.

And for the more effervescent readers around here:
Tadoku (多読) has finally returned!

A heads up in case anyone's missed it on the General Discussion
thread: Wonderful news for all language learners
who like to, or would like to do extensive reading to improve their language skills

of it!):

The Tadoku Contest is returning!
- And in an improved form, too.

For those who don't know it, this is a (friendly) reading competition for language
learners.   Anyone can take part,
and a significant number of Htlal-ers do.   (Amazing, how leaderboards can motivate
people!)

The Tadoku was scheduled four times a year, starting on the first days of: January,
April, July and October, but I
don't know if this schedule will be retained for 2013.

For more details as they become available, check the the most recent posts on the
Readmod page above (some of
the info in the sidebar, e.g. the "how to" stuff, will likely be outdated due to the
technical improvements), or
follow the Readmod Twitter feed @TadokuBot.

We can probably use the links found by the 2012 German TAC team, which can be found in entry 4 here:
http://how-to-learn-any-language.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?T ID=30570&PN=2

I would add:

Das Erste: http://mediathek.daserste.de/ (Die Serie Tatort gefällt mir sehr.)
RTL: http://rtl-now.rtl.de/

Ich kann es kaum erwarten! :)

Und vielendank stifa!!!

Thanks for creating the team tread!

Just checking in and confirming my participation with the team. I will be creating my learning log at some point in the next 2 weeks and link it back to this thread. This is my first TAC and I am looking forward to an exciting year of learning.

cheers
niels

It is also my first TAC. I've been lurking a lot of TAC 2012 logs so I think I
understand how it works. :)

EDIT: That Neanderpeople site seems to be of no use since all the links on it leads to a
terminated youtube account.

I would like to join if this is the right place to do so. Do I understand how it works: create a log where one records progress throughout the year and tag entries with the team name? I have begun to look at past TAC posts, but there are so many, I haven't found the one that spells out the rules.

Vielen Dank.

Level: shaky B1
Goal in 2013: solid B2
