Here I am, after an amazing vacation in Iceland, to put order to my language learning life.
These are the changes: - Focus on improving my French (by the way, my French exam to pass from B1.1 to B1.2 at the Alliance Française went well!) - Focus on reach a good level in English. My street English learned only by watching TV is not enough anymore. I need formal education to learn how to express myself at my best sounding correct for both my professional career and my life in general. - Postponed German, Norwegian and Icelandic. I will study German after Dutch, and a Scandinavian one when I will have a better level in English. - Focus on reaching a conversational level in Dutch. I'm still an advanced beginner that doesn't dare to speak Dutch with the Nederlanders. So that is my language plan (to be subject to modifications): - French: books and lesson at the Alliance Française, plus reading books and listening some radio (I have a good passive comprehension so those activities are not heavy for me. I can read French without strain and I discovered it relaxes me). - Dutch: Duolingo + Babbel + memrise (10 words a day). I have a much better passive comprehension than few months ago but absolutely not at the levels of English and French. I need to build the core and to start activating the writing skills. - English: I don't have any idea. I'm going to start a thread asking you advices and I will update this post afterwards. I'm going to study Dutch daily and alternate English and French (I use them everyday in any case at work). I'm considering bootstrapping a new language at a very slow and pacific rhythm of 5 words a day and reserve 5 words a day for Icelandic too. But only as experiment. Permitteme de facergli a questo testo delle correzione, benche non mi l'abbia demandato:
Dovrei chiamare delle cose alla attenzione: I) Alla frase, "Is good/important/bad/etc." le manca un pronome in inglese: "It is good/important/bad/etc." Le frasi in inglese non possono iniziarsi con degli verbi. Lo stesso vale alle lingue Germaniche. II) L'inglese non ha degli articoli partitivi, migliore dito, "I have a good experience in this field", "I have a cheese", cosa che è corretto sarebbe, "I have good experience in this field" e, "I have cheese", per esempio. III) Gli pronomi astratti non lo potrebbero portare nella forma plurale, i.e. "I shall ask you for advices" non è corretto; si dovrebbe dicere, "I shall ask you for advice". Alcune consiglie, come angloparlante nativo: credo che deva leggere un libro de grammatica d'inglese o bene ne un paio, con particolare attenzione alle preposizione, alli verbi e gli loro coniugazioni. Il problema è che abbia degli errori quasi ogni frase, però con della practica credo che scriva migliore. Se ti renti conto, io stesso cometa probabilmente degli falli quando scrivo nel Italiano. Però dello stesso modo degli libri che ti insegne degli concetti grammaticali in scrittura ti aiuta a migliorarte la sintassi. Spero che questo ti sirva d'aiuta. Ero al corrente dei miei problemi grammaticali, mi sto infatti informando per creare un piano di studio per raggiungere risultati d'eccellenza... o almeno, migliori. Ma intanto il tuo feedback e' molto prezioso per me. Buona fortuna con il tuo Italiano. Il tuo testo non e' perfetto ma cio' che hai scritto e' completamente chiaro, quindi continua cosi' ;) (Non badare ai miei accenti usati al posto degli apostrofi: sto scrivendo con una tastiera americana e sono estremamente pigro ad utilizzare gli accenti siccome non scrivo quasi mai in Italiano.) --- let's try to train my Dutch... Dank je wel, ik wist om mijn grammaticale problemen, ik zoek informaties voor creëren een leerplan zo kan ik excellent resultaten te krijgen. Ondertussen, jouw feedback is zeer belangrijk voor mij. Veel succes met jouw Italiaans. Jouw tekst is niet perfect maar wat schreef je is helemaal duidelijk, zo jij bent "om het goed straat". J'espère de pas avoir fait beaucoup d'erreurs dans ma traduction en Néerlandais. Mais, vraiment, ce n'est pas un problème très grave. Pour ça, ce suffit étudier. Finally I'm studying subordinate clauses in Dutch, so I can avoid writing only

That's crazy:
studying the Dutch grammar with Duolingo I noticed that the major part of errors are done not building Dutch sentences, but translate into English... and only because I make a lot more grammatical mistakes in English! 1 person has voted this message useful |
