I followed the link, but didn't really like the two young hunteresses. However I stayed on the homepage and somehow hit upon my favorite NRK1 program "Nytt på nytt" which is a good - and hard - test both of comprehension and cultural/political background. I have referred to this program a couple of times in my own log, but for some reason I had not noticed its name so I have always used the wrong name. My cable provider has namely always dubbed it "Ugen der gak" ('the week that goed') because we once had a similar program with that title on Danish TV.
I'm sure native Norwegians understand the language, but what about all the weird references?

Assimil Swedish 61-63
Assimil Swedish 64-65
I also watched "Kill Buljo", the (Nord-)Norwegian "Kill Bill" parody. Not so easy to
understand.

Assimil Swedish 66-67
Doing Assimil lessons is slowly getting on my nerves ... I liked how short the Danish
one was.

I've watched the Danish TV series 'Arvingerne'. The last episode doesn't feel like a
proper ending, so I hope there will be a second season.

Jeg leste en artikkel om at
mennesket er et tropisk dyr.
Det finnes et avsnitt som jeg ikke helt forstår:
Quote:
Den tryggeste dagstemperaturen for befolkningen rundt Middelhavet er 24 grader, mens den
tryggeste dagstemperaturen for finner ligger på 14 grader.
|
|
|
"trygg" betyr jo egentlig "sikker", men her er det jo meningsløst. Er "den tryggeste
dagstemperaturen" her noe meteorologisk uttrykk med spesiell betydning?

Undrar om inte "trygg" har en utvidgad betydelse här, som att "känna sig bekväm", "trivas". Förhoppningsvis kan någon med norska som modersmål svara.
