A great log, one of the most original methods I've seen in a long time. A source of
inspiration not only for Swedish and languages .
I'm looking forward to reading you, especially when I finally have the chance to
seriously start Swedish. :-)

Kez, I really admire your incentive. If you already managed to learn different
programming languages to communicate with computers, I have absolutely no doubt that you
will be fine learning various languages to communicate with human beings!
The principle is the same. Your German teacher apparently was the wrong person to teach
you, or at least her methods didn't work for you. I have no doubt that you will be very
successful!
Good luck!

Thanks Cavesa & Mae for the supporting comments!
MY 30 DAY CHALLENGE
I've been slacking a bit for the past 2 weeks, and once you start slacking, you will
continue slacking. So now it's time do my own 30 day challenge.
Every day for the next 30 days, starting today, i'm going to:
- Read 10 pages from my Swedish book
- Learn 15 new words
- Watch Swedish movies/series for 30 minutes.
- Speak Swedish for (atleast) 30 minutes.
- Read 5 Swedish news articles.
That is per week:
- 70 pages of my book,
- 95 new words
- 3,5 hours of series/movies,
- 3,5 speaking
- 35 news articles.
If I don't have enough time on 1 day to do all of it I'll write down what I missed and
add it up to the next day. I'm going to tell my gf about this planm so she can keep me
motivated and give me hell if I slack off.
Time for Total Annihilation

@Marya Thank you! Good luck with your Norwegian studies!
30 DAY CHALLENGE - DAY 2
- Read 10 pages of my book
- Learned 15 new words
- Watched 2 episodes of "Mysteriet på Grevenholm", 1 episode of "Skrotorna" and the
movie "Snabba Cash": 3 hours total
- I spoke Swedish for 30 minutes
- Read 15 news articles
That brings the total to:
- Pages read of book: 20
- New words learned: 30
- Watched series/movies: 6 hours
- Swedish spoken: 1 hour 15 minutes
- News articles read: 25
It's going good, it's a lot of work but i'm enjoying it. The hardest thing of all is
reading the 10 pages. Because I read out loud while my girlfriend listens and every
time I make a mistake she corrects me and I redo the whole sentence until I got it
right. Because of this it takes atleast 30 minutes to read only 10 pages, but i'm
learning alot from it.

30 DAY CHALLENGE - DAY 3
- Read 17 pages of my book
- Learned 15 new words
- Watched nothing.

- Read 12 news articles
That brings the total to:
- Pages read of book: 37
- New words learned: 45

- News articles read: 37
I was home quite late from work yesterday, so I had a bit less time to do everything.
Me and my gf spoke Swedish to each other when we were cooking and eating and after
dinner I immediately started reading and I got really into it, and before I knew it I
read almost twice as much as I planned. I already learned the 15 words and I already
read the news articles as well, so I didn't have to do that anymore.
I wanted to watch 2 episodes of Mysteriet på Grevenholm, but it was already half past 9
and we decided to watch an English movie.
That means that I have some catching up to do! Which is the reason why I woke up early
on my Saturday morning.
Må kraften var med dig.

Yesterday I was walking through the town and I saw a few people of some organisation
asking people on the street questions. When I came closer I saw that she was going to
ask me a few question, which I did not feel like. The conversation went a bit like
this:
- Hey! We are from [Organisation name], could I ask you some questions? [In Dutch]
- Sorry, jag pratar inte holländska.
- Confused girls asked: huh what?
- Then I said in English that I didn't speak Dutch.
After that I expected her to say okay and walk away, instead of that she got interested
and started asking me questions. So the rest of the conversation was me lying about
that I was on a holiday here for 2 weeks, and that it was way colder in Sweden. My
girlfriend just stared and laughed at me during all of this. I found a new way to talk
with them people on the streets ^^
