Bonjour! Je me présente!
possible.
Bonne chance!.
Edit: excusez moi! j'ai oublié mon log: French Log

I'd love to join this team. I was originally going to join Triomphe, but I wanted to know what my plans for the
year were before joining. However, it's going to take me a while to figure things out, so I decided to do a
French TAC anyway since I'm going to be studying French all year. I started an individual TAC for French
because Triomphe was full, but now that there's a new French team, I might as well sign up.

Well, I'll remain with Triomphe, but I'll follow your logs and team, if that's ok. Bonne chance mes amis!

Thanks for setting this up, Songlines. I haven't started a log yet, because I'm waiting for the name. ;) But is it possible for users to change the names of their threads?

Petermollenburg's
French log
Merci songlines pour m'avoir inscrit. Mon rapport de mes heures d'études de la langue française se trouvera
au dessus. Mais, j'ai besoin d'un autre nom pour cela. Tu as des suggestions?
Thanks songlines, count me in! My log is above, I guess I'll need to change the subject title of it tho, any
suggestions?

I am currently working on improving my French (in fact, I'm just diving back in after a three-month Russian distraction) and I would love to be a part of this team if there's still room. I also plan to follow the members of Team Triomphe, because I love reading the logs of people learning my target language. I often get fantastic ideas and preemptive answers to questions I hadn't thought to ask yet.
My log is here: BonneVivante's French Log
I'll rename the log once we have a team name, provided of course that you have space for me.
If anyone would be interested in practicing French conversation over Skype or Google Hangouts or something similar, that's something I would find very useful, as my greatest challenge in learning is a lack of confidence in casual conversation and a lack of people to practice with.

Thanks for adding me to the list songlines! Edit: linking isn't working on my tablet so I'll
have to paste the url to my log:

I have some suggestions for team names...

Welcome, mes amis!
To change the name of your logs, edit your first post in it. That'll allow you to also edit the subject field.
PeterMollenburg, re. choosing the name of your log: There's one practical tip from Serpent and
mrwarperthat I've mentioned in my first post in this thread. So I'd suggest making the very first
word in that title a tad more distinctive: ie not "TAC", not "the team name" (whatever it turns out to be);
probably not "French". Many people use their username (or part thereof) as the first word, and that seems to
work out well. Adding the name of the language or team later in the title is also useful for others.
(Space permitting; remember there's a character limit.) But it's your log and your choice, and ultimately
what's important is the content...! <smile>
Update: edited to correct the attribution for the tip.
