Heute hatten wir ein gemeinsames Kochen und Essen im Freundeskreis. Unsere Mahlzeit:

KÜRBISSUPPE MIT TOMATEN UND KARTOFFELN

Zutaten:

- 800 g Kürbis
- 6 Tomaten
- 2 große Kartoffeln
- 2 EL Olivenöl extra vergine
- 2 Zehen Knoblauch
- Gemüsebrühe
- Salz + Pfeffer
- Rosmarin
- Parmesan


Ich hatte vergessen, Parmesan zu kaufen und hatte aus praktischen Gründen keinen Knoblauch mitgenommen, aber das hat unserer Suppe nicht wirklich geschadet. Uns hat die Suppe geschmeckt und keiner war unzufrieden!

Mañana quisiera cocinar algo un poco experimental, pues hoy ya puede presentaros los ingredientes:


ARROZ CON GUISANTES, ZANAHORIAS Y ALCACHOFAS

Los ingredientes:

- 150 g de arroz
- 200 g de guisantes
- 2 alcachofas (= Artischocken)
- 2 tomates
- 2 cebollas
- 8 tazas de caldo vegetal
- aceite de oliva vergine
- sal + pimienta
- curry

Yo no tengo ninguna experienza de cocinar o comer alcachofas, pues eso sera un experimento para mi. Compré una alcachofa y ella es carissima, cuesta 1,99 EUR, es veramente una delicatessa. Pero quisiera gustarla por la primera vez.

OK, cociné todo de este plato. La alcachofa es una verdura muy complicada a tranchar y se come muy poco de ella, no vale la pena comprarla, es mi opinión. Es gusto non es malo, pero el precio demasiado alto para la poca cantidad comestible. No quisiera comprar una alcachofa otra vez. !Pero la comida es deliciosa para mi, buen apetito!

My financial situation is quite tense, so I have to adapt my cooking to this. Today I managed to cook a soup for three days (= 4 people) and I payed for all the ingredients together 1,83 EUR. Some recipes which I have tried out are very suitable when I need to use low budget tricks.

Here's the soup: CORN AND POTATO CHOWDER

The ingredients:

- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 potato
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 green bell pepper
- 2 tablespoons of sunflower (I used olive) oil
- 2,5 cups vegetable stock
- salt and pepper
- 1,25 cups of milk (I used Turkish ayran*)
- 1 can lima beans
- 1 can corn kernels
- sage (= Salbei)

So, this is the mixture. Let me explain, what ayran is: It consists of 60 % plain joghurt, water and jodiumsalt. I can only buy ayran in the Turkish supermarket. The soup is delicious and very fluid, so it's possible to add 1-2 courgettes, which I didn't do today.

the concotion = de bereiding, het browsel, het verzinsel
the whirl = de poging, de beurt
to give sth. a whirl = iets eens proberen

From other of your posts I know that you are interested in the food topic. For people living in Germany it's really not that difficult to find a Turkish shop to buy some ayran. Turkish people use this as a normal drink, but it tastes salty, which I find strange for a drink. But for cooking this salty joghurt is a good mixture.

Heute werde ich nochmal eines meiner favorisierten Rezepte kochen.

MINESTRONE MIT NUDELN UND BOHNEN

Die Zutaten:

- 200 g Nudeln
- 500 g Tomaten
- 1 Lauch
- 1 Zucchino
- 200 g Riesenbohnen (aus Glas oder Dose)
- 1 L Gemüsebrühe
- 1 Zwiebel
- 2 EL OLivenöl
- 1 Knoblauchzehe
- Salz und Pfeffer

Ich habe noch "italienische Kräuter" benutzt, aber empfohlen wird im Rezept, Parmesan oder Pesto dazuzugeben. Wenn das so nach Rezept kocht, ergibt sich eine große Menge, für meinen großen Topf war es zuviel Flüssigkeit. Auf jeden Fall schmeckt diese Suppe gut.

MINESTRA CON PATATE E SPINACI

Domani vorrei cucinare questa zuppa con spinaci. Non ho mai utilizzato spinaci da stessa per la cucina.

Gli ingredienti:

- 400 g di ceci lessanti (la cece = die Kichererbse, de kikkererwt)
- 4 patate
- 200 g di spinaci
- brodo vegetale (compro questo nel negozio biologico)
- 1 cipolla
- 4 cuchiai di olio extravergine di oliva
- sale e pepe

Ho cucinato zuppa che è veramente deliciosa! Degli spinaci ho appreso che è vietato di riscaldargli un'altra volta. Per questo ho soltanto cucinato la metà oggi e vorrei cuninare l'altra metà domani per evitare il riscaldimento. È una ricetta con ingredienti buon mercati, questo è anche utile per me.

Questo piatto: FUSILLI ALLE VERDURE

Gli ingredienti:

- 400 g di fusilli
- 2 peperoni (falso amico - nel tedesco: Paprika)
- 2 carote
- 2 zucchine
- 1 porro
- (brodo vegetale)
- 6 cuchiai di olio extravergine di oliva
- prezzemolo
- sale
- (parmiggiano gratteggiato)
- (pepe)

Mi piacciono tanti verduri in un cibo, ma come piatto era un po' secco a mangiare.
Ma comunque mangiare tanti verdure è molto sano!!!
