Real life interfered again last weekend and I did not learn as much Finnish or Swedish as I intended. A Halloween party and studying for a chemistry test and two math tests this week all played a role. I did, however complete my Spanish class Monday and now it's time to start doing scriptorium for Spanish and Finnish but I'm still not ready for this in Swedish yet; though I will be soon.
Hyvää yötä

Last week was a bit busy for me, because of school work and I was sidetracked twice by the desire to learn Chinese (That won't happen until 2011, I promise!)but this next week will be better. Why? well it has to be better, I won't have three tests to study for, just one and I have found interesting things to read in Spanish and Finnish. It's getting very late so I'll write more later...
Buenas Noches

It's later and I feel much better after getting some sleep. But what does that have to do with me learning languages? I often stay up late studying them thinking that I will learn more; but sometimes I'm just too tired. I've also noticed that my study habits are only semi-organized and undisciplined, and this is slowing down my progress, particularly in Swedish.
Since completing my Spanish class last week, I have been focusing on Swedish, since I realized I know less Swedish than I want to after 4 or 5 months. I've never introduced myself in written Swedish which is something I like to do in the languages I'm learning because it's good practice for me. I think I'll post it in the Scandinavisk & Nordisk room or maybe here but not in both places, double posts are evil!

PS I found out what the micro tag feature is for, and so I have, um, uhh "microtagged" (that can't really be a word, or is it?) many posts in this log.

What was I thinking? This post needs to have some Spanish! Since I completed my Spanish class last week I will post my last paper from that class:
Buenas noches

First I must congratulate myself on actually studying all 4 languages this week! Now to state the obvious; Finnish is my weakest language mainly because I've been focusing more on the other three languages. So, it's time for another obvious statement, I need to learn more Finnish!!!. I'll study now because I will be attending a birthday party this evening, in fact I'll be celebrating quite a few birthdays this month.
Hei sitten

En kirjoittanut mitään täällä, koska minun täytyy oppia lisää suomen sanasto.
I have written nothing here, because I must learn more Finnish vocabulary.
Nähdään ensi viikolla

It's very early Thursday morning where I am, so this post will be very brief. My week and a half of focusing on Finnish is going well, though I still want to learn more vocabulary.
I will get back studying the other three languages next week, if only to make sure I don't start forgetting things I've already learned.
Hyvää yötä
