I was given the option to try the listening test one level higher, but I declined
because B1 was hard enough (I had to listen several times)

I thought I would try again after 1.5 years.

This time I only listened once to the recordings, like in the IELTS test. These are the highest results you can get on this test by the way (except for the self assessment, which I can't reliably do anyway).

Congrats, Daegga, that is huge progress.

I wonder (as I asked about the matter already today), where do you get your scandinavian
sources? You use tons of input, which is what I'd like to do once I get back to Swedish
(which should be quite soon), where do you get the books and movies? Do you have a well
stock library/bookshop in town? Amazon? The scandinavian eshops with huge delivery fees?
Have you find a pirate treasure island? As you are in Austria, some of your sources may
ship to the neighbouring Czech Republic as well, perhaps.

Mostly I'm just patient and use what's available for free. dr.dk, svt.se, nrk.no.
Just found this gem: https://www.dr.dk/tv/se/boern/ramasjang/dyrenes-oe/dyrenes-o e-2-13-2
Oiski poiski! Guess what I'll be doing tonight :)
dr.dk also has "bonanza", a library of old productions, freely available everywhere. There's something similar on svt.se, but with many restrictions (you can get a Swedish VPN though). dr.dk also regularly has audiobooks for download, with professional narrators of course.
Then there are the usual underground channels, but you need to search in the target language to find something and the selection is rather meager.
There are also sites specific for Swedish, which are a lot better.
For music and cartoons youtube does the trick. For music there also is spotify. For legally available books you have runeberg, gutenberg, wikisource, and some more specific sites.
I can point you to eshops for Danish for digital stuff, no idea about the other languages. Buying from Norway is a pain for example, as they are not in the EU.

You are eyeing with Swedish, right? I can give pointers on how to find ebooks and movies, just write a PM when it gets relevant.

I just went through the old C-level test in PDF format and got 26 out of 40 points, which means I barely made C1 (25 points would've been B2+). This one was mainly about prepositions, adverbials, connectors and collocations. In order words: idiomatic usage. It also made me aware that my spelling is still all over the place. Maybe I need to start reading again.
