I think I was the one who posted the link to the Proficient test, if I'm not mistaken,
not sure if I found it at Emme's log or from a friend elsewhere.

Today I finished the 3rd audiobook in Jean Auel's Earth's Children series, this time
again in Danish. I'll listen to the 4th part of the series in Danish too, this will take
the rest of the year and probably a good part of January (it's over 30h long and there
are the Christmas holidays in between). Afterwards I'd like to concentrate on Swedish
for a while.

@Sepent
Thanks for the info! I didn’t know that, but what else could you expect from a tech noob like me? ;-)

What did you think of the series? Did you find the Norwegian easy to understand?

Not a great series, but definitively good enough to get hooked and to be impatiently
waiting for the next episode. I probably wouldn't have watched it if it hadn't been in
Norwegian and hadn't played in Norway.
I wouldn't call the language easy to understand, but it was easy enough. Vocabulary was
no problem, but it always takes some time to get used to the pronunciation of the
individual actors. But it's basically the same accent you would hear around Oslo, so
there is nothing inherently difficult (unlike north-western dialects with their
palatalization for example).
Have you watched it/are you going to watch it too?

I watched it as well. There were subtitles since it was broadcast on SVT, but I wouldn't have needed them (other than for the occasional noisy dialogue which you can never predict).
