Such a situation often happens. When I visit my friends, I ask them to serve me fruits, while they are eating cakes, chocolate or sweets.

A fruit allergy is not that unusual, a friend of mine is also restricted in eating some kinds of fruits. When I make a fruit salad, I have to leave out some fruits, when I invite her.
But let's now get on topic again. This week I will not cook other recipes, because of a lack of time. But I am currently writing the vocabulary lists of new recipes. This is quite some work, but for my Romance languages it's necessary. I have to look up 10 -15 unknown words per recipe. I cut the recipes out of the magazines and glue them on a lined sheet of paper. On the back of the sheet I write the vocabulary list and a shopping list with the price I pay for each ingredient. This way I also get a control over the costs of the meal. For an Italian recipe I write all of this in Italian.

Oggi ho denove tempo per cucinare. Vorrei fare questo:
VELLUTATA (la vellutata = der Samt / het fluweel) CON GNOCCHETTI DI SEMOLINO (het griesmeel)
Gli ingredienti:
- 1 kg di cavolfiore
- 300 g di polpa di pomodoro
- brodo vegetale
- 1 spicchio di aglio
- 4 cuchiai di olio di oliva extravergine
- sale
Per gli gnocchetti:
- 125 g di semolino
- 5 dl di latte (= 0,5 L)
- 2 tuorli
- 30 g di parmiggiano grattugiato
- 20 g di burro (io prendo margarina!)
- sale
Vorrei apprendere a fargli!
Buon appetito!

My side dish (= contorno): PATATE CON CREMA AL FORMAGGIO
This is the meal before it is baked in the oven.
This is the meal after it was baked in the oven.
On the pictures it looks delicious, but it's not really a success story this time. After 50 minutes of baking in the oven at 180 degrees C plus later 10 minutes with the cheese mixture in it the potatoes were still rather hard. Therefore it was also very difficult to peel the skins, so it was not a relaxing meal. I don't know what I could have done wrong with this meal, but I rather wouldn't bake this again.

UNSER OSTERESSEN: NUDELSALAT TRICOLORE
