#Film
1. Miss Undercover (02. May, 2012)
Just watched “Miss Undercover (Miss Congeniality)” as the warm-up for this challenge. I
am a big fan of Sandra Bullock and have watched this movie (in English and sometimes with
Mandarin subtitle) like hundred times that I can remember most of the lines. This is my
first time ever watching it in German. I’m so used to Sandra Bullock’s voice that when I
heard the dubbed German voice for her character, I found a bit awkward. Anyway, my
familiarity with this film helped me a lot with picking up words, but since they always
speak so fast in films, there were still many words and phrases that I missed. I’ll
definitely watch the film again, maybe next time with German subtitle.

Hi, Great work and update! Could you possibly do the updates for the Advanced Challenge (Spanish) in the
Advanced Challenge thread or I will be totally confused when making my periodical comments? :-)

My impression is that her German in this clip at least was quite good. My ear for accents still leaves a little to be desired, but my impression is that she sounds a little like a native speaker who has spent a lot of time in the US.
