I've also read the rules to meant at a film is 90" and over. So, two hour long shows = 1 film.

I know I'm late but I will start the half super challenge from now on with Chinese and
Spanish, strictly with movies. I may move on to books when I finish the 100s though.
Having watched not long ago (in the past 2 weeks) :
Chinese (2/100):
-中国好声音2012/08/17
-中国好声音2012/08/24
As I am a beginner in Chinese it is quite challenging (there being no subtitles but
chinese), but knowing Japanese I get the general meaning. Great show with words and
expressions coming back often, making it easier and easier.

It's at least a film and a half!!! :-)
TBH I just count any session lasting between 48 and 100 mins as one film. I try to make my LR sessions last 90, 180 or even 270 mins but I want my list to be like
1.
2.
3.
3.5
4.
5.
6-7.
with nothing more complicated than half-films/books and really long ones. a list of minute/page counts isn't the same, even if there's a bot for dividing that by 90/100.

I probably misread the rules, but I thought 45mins was half a film, therefore 90mins
plus was a full film, but I can see now that I have misread the rules. I think with all the tv-series I have been
watching 45 minutes per film would be too easy for me personally so I am going to stick to the 90minute/film
level, but that's just me. |

Yeah. I guess I'm looking at this:

..and am just not sure on what the source of the confusion is.
However you want to do it is best for you, I'm sure. Much luck.
ETA: The only reason I mentioned length in my original post was because I sometimes watch comedy routines
which clock in at around 8-10 minutes, but I do not count them as anything in the Super Challenge.

The bot counts 90 minutes as a film.
I usually count a movie as a movie, two 45-min TV shows as a movie, and everything else I just add the time and let the bot figure it out.

Quick update from me. I'm withdrawing from the challenge. It's not really working for me. I shall carry on reading and listening at my leisure instead.

Oh, okay, that explains a ton; I don't use the Twitter bot.
Some clarification from Solfrid Cristin would be great if she happens to be around. As long as Serpent is still
counting the same way I am, though, I won't feel completely crazy. ;-)

I think the confusion comes from the difference between the original rules and the way the bot counts it.
The original rules stand though, so if you watch something which is an hour long, it counts as a film. If it
lasts 50 minutes you can technically count it as one film, but I would recommend doing two of them and
count it as one film. But again, the important thing is what motivates you.
