LANGUAGE:
Irish
CHALLENGE:
Super Duper (100 films + 100 books + 20K written words + 50 hours of conversation practice!!!) [edit]
CURRENT LEVEL:
A0+ (i.e just a few basic words/phrases)
COMMENTS:
I initially opted for a half-challenge in Irish, during which I hoped to watch the equivalent of 150 hours of TG4 (in addition to any Irish DVDs on my bookshelf). However, Cristina's passion for this challenge is so contagious and exciting that I've rethought my plans and am officially opting now for the full crazy course over the next 20 months, whistles, bells, the lot! So you can count me in for the Super Duper Challenge too (oh what have I done)!! [edit]
My knowledge of Irish amounts to little more than a handful of pigeon crumbs, and I may very well be working and studying for a PhD at the same time from next Fall, so this should prove a real challenge. >.< [edit]
I've added these goals to my regular blog, and am eagerly looking forward to starting on the 1st May (May Day)!

Hi Christina, could you correct my current level as A1? It's definitely not A2. Also I'm
adding to my goals Lang-8 essays, at least a hundred of them. So that's Super-Duper and
at least 100 essays. Thanks!

I do not register your level - that was just to get an indication as to where everyone is. I just register languages and type of challenge. As for writing I have not included that in the challenge. Everyone is free to include it themselves in their updates, but that is not something which I will keep tabs on.

Ok, thank you, I was somewhat unsure of what is included in the register and what isn't.
Again, thanks for a great learning opportunity!
