The same happened with AnnetteK, who definitely didn't change her password or email address and who wanted to join the Croatian team :S
she was told to try creating a new account but she doesn't want to register a new mailbox for that :/

I like that there are many individual participants this time. With all due respect to Fasulye, she didn't have like ANY competition last year...

Meramarina helped one of those on my team to get back their old account. Her e-mail is listed on her profile, in case Wilke or someone else who can't send PM's is reading this.

I've never heard of accounts being deactivated without people changing either their e-mail or their password. It's scary! Do you know if she changed anything at all, Serpent? I added a new language to my list recently and that went well, but I'm starting to get afraid to change even the slightest thing. I wish he would fix the bugs before the whole forum comes crashing down around us.

The rule is (that's what I wrote in the Technical Room as well) that you shouldn't change your e-mail address neither your password on your profile! With both it's the danger that your profile doesn't get reactivated.

Are you sure there are no Arabic teams? No people learning Arabic? I could use some input/comments in my log.

Team Alef is still accepting members if you want to join them. Just let me and them know.

No, but this was a new account. De jure it was activated at some point, but de facto it was never used (or even displayed as active). I'll tell her to contact Meramarina, though :)
I don't think you should worry about adding a new language ♥ Unless you want to add it to your hit list and later as a proper entry - it would get into a separate category, so you'd have three lists: Speaks: Studies: Studies: ... :/

The same thing happened to a friend of mine. He had to try three times before he managed to create a working account. If it's a new account, she'll probably just have to try again. That's what he had to do.

I noticed that when I tried to add Spanish. I had to delete it from my hit list first and then add it as a study language.
