@Cavesa: I see you're a lot like me. My list of 'loose ends' would probably be of comparable length... one day, I'll deal with them, one thing at a time.
On the bright side, I have a couple of very decent German courses I'll probably never go back to because I covered the material in some other way. Which is great, obviously, but leaves me with the uneasy impression I could have spent my money in a better way.
Good luck with your loose ends, and with 'completing' French!

Yeah, it feels like a waste to have those courses and know they are useless now. But I
hope to find some good in the pieces focused on typical Czech mistakes. Some loose ends
will take me an afternoon, some will take a month or more.
My progress:
I am somewhere inside the Lektion 3 of Themen.
My anki deck has got over 500 cards and I have gone through all of them already. A
funny surprise: German textbooks put in their first few lessons more useful vocabulary
than the French ones. For exemple, after all those years, I do not know the French word
for die Steckdose. Or die Glühbirne :-)
I have finished reading Doctor Who:The Empire of Glass
I found it accidntally and I loved it. +1 book to my ASC English.
NO other reading done, despite my plans. But you must have already noticed that
approximately 95% of my plans get changed :-)

I almost forgot to add one conversation in English and one in French! It is strange but
while I feel much comfortable writing in English than in French, when it comes to
speaking, it is the other way around.

And those were my 1001th and 1002nd posts. It eaither means I've been here for a long
time or that I should spend less time writing here and more on my German. This post is
1003rd. Done with counting inside the posts, no worries.

As usual, my plans changed. Instead of a reading day, I did some German exeercises and have been
learning my vocab in anki since then.
But there is some progress in my super challenge
Watched one episode of the big bang theory and count is as half film (well, should be more like a third but I
count some others as less than...i guess its pretty balanced in the end)
two books
Doctor Who: the sands of time
Doctor Who: the scales of injustice
I loved them. I wish my source would have the rest of the doctor who books as well.
My apologies to all those waiting for me as guardian angel. I'm writing an exam on Wednesday. I'l read you
all after the exam, I promise :-)

another book for ASC English:
A Memory of Light, counts as 2
I love it! It's the last tome of the Wheel of Time series and it's awesome. Not sure
whether there are any WoT fans here so I'll spare you all of a WoT excitement overdose.

You're doing great, you're really rushing through your books.
Are you only going to focus on your German to become intermediate in the 6WC or are
you're going to continue with French & English as well? I'm thinking about doing the 6WC
but not entirely sure yet.
